What is amber?
Amber is an organic origin mineral which formed from conifer tree resin over the centuries. Resin of conifer trees dropped onto the ground, fossilized and turned into amber on the long run. Baltic amber is believed to have formed some 50 million years ago when mixed subtropical forests grew in the Baltic Sea basin. This mineral contains some succinic acid which is the main valuable component of amber due to which it is used for healing purposes. It is interesting that the composition of amber fully coincides with the composition of a live organism.
Safety notice!
Keep out of reach of children when not in use. Amber stones will crack and break under too much pressure.
Also note
Since computer monitors and device displays have different color calibration settings, the actual color of amber jewelry may slightly differ from the color in the photo.
Every amber stone is unique. The shapes and colors are similar, but not identical. After the amber stones are processed, they are sorted in different shapes and colors by hand before making final product.
